Hey guys and girls recently I have become obsessed with female gaming characters who meet grisly ends in video games. I was wondering if anyone has any good moments they remember where a female character meets and horrific demise. (not just shot/stabbed) My personal favorite is the end of Mass Effect 2 (hint involves a pod and melting) What are your top favorites?

In slasher game (action with swords / spears) Blade Of Darkness one of the playable characters in Amazon, and the game is very gory. She can be hacked into pieces by enemies, for example.
There is one Tomb Raider, on ps2, I don't know which one, it has beautiful deaths, you should check the Youtube for it. Lots of spine breakings, neck snapping and shit like that. It was very arousing. There should be a very well compiled video, if they didn't put it down already. I'll try and find later and post a link to it. Unless someone beats me to it

Silent Hill 3. In fact, "Heather" is like Kenny. She dies, but always comes back due to spoilers for the first and third game. Let's see, I the Fatal Frame has a couple. Oh, and in Dead Space, a traiterous bitch gets tentacle owned. It`s great.

Yeah, in case you couldn't tell, I'm a big fan of game deaths. Get ready for some serious tl;dr... Kelly's death in ME2 was epic, mostly on account of how adorably cute she was. It's sad, I know, but I got emotionally attached to Kels, and watching her melt like that just breaks my heart. I mean, she's so helpless, and she's been through so much, but there's nothing you can do, NOTHING, and she just screams as her flesh melts away... it's one of the few guro scenes I actually avoid getting at all costs, but it's still a great fap. If you weren't one of the anons from the thread, you should check the backlog in /req/ for the Bioware thread. There was some discussion and fanart of Kelly's demise. Mortal Kombat is obviously a classic. The first death I saw was during first match I played; Sonya lost to Scorpion in MK1 and got burned to death. The first one that really got me into guro was JC's torso rip from MK2, and honestly, I don't think there's a single MK fatality I haven't fapped to countless times (except maybe for Lui Kang's Bicycle Kick fatality). I'm not going to post a breakdown of all my favorites from THAT series, because there are just way too many and this whole post would be nothing but MK! I will mention that I love the newer finishing moves where the chick begs and pleads for you to spare her (e.g. Sub Zero's Torso Stomp), and the new version of Kung Lao's Buzzsaw fatality looks fucking HOT. I'm eagerly awaiting the chance to prep Kitana for a night of fun with it. Killer Instinct had some great deaths, in particular the Knockoff fatality from KI2. Ten second upskirt ass shot with a deadly payoff, what more can you want? Maki's death from Final Fight 2 was great, mostly because of the situation. I love ninja girls, Damsels in Distress, guro, and game over sequences, so it's a perfect storm of awesome. Lucia's death in Final Fight 3 was also quite sexy; if anything, it was even more gruesome, but sadly Lucia hasn't enjoyed the same level of continued exposure as Maki has. Maybe her Game Over sequence was canonical? Phantasmgoria is another favorite. The scene where the demon gouges out the chick's eyes and rips her face off gave me pleasant nightmares when I was a kid. The death scenes from Time Gal, Rianna Rouge, and Nighttrap all looked great when I was younger, too, although having played Nighttrap again recently, I'm not as impressed anymore. Laughing Octopus' death from Metal Gear. Tentacles, shiny wetness, psychological trauma, and a perfect ass. It's not so much "gruesome" as "totally hot", but I liked it. The old "chainsaw to the neck" death from REvil. Not on Leon, mind you, but any of the chicks will do. Also, the dog death from the early games; I loved the way Jill and Rebecca struggle to shake the dog off as it tears out their throat. Blood Storm. One of the better MK-klones, it had some absolutely gruesome finishing movies, usually involving gibbing your opponent and leaving her tit-heaving torso sitting on top of a pile of intestines. Even the ending had the chicks getting snuffed, so win or lose, you still win! Also Eternal Champions 2 or whatever it was called; not all of the finishing moves were good, but some of them, like the Egypt stage where the dude turns into a monster and eats the chick's skin off? Exquisite. Super Metroid. I loved the way Samus' clothes exploded when she died. It was kinda like the old Art of Fighting approach to fan service, only the chick wasn't just robbed of her dignity and knocked unconscious, she was fucking dead. Far Cry 2. The game's got mixed reviews and tends to be a love it or hate it affair, so I won't weigh in here, but I did enjoy the interactive euthanasia whenever a female buddy got downed. The look in her eyes, the way she begged for it, the way she gripped your barrel and held it up to her mouth, yum yum! Yes, technically she's getting shot, but it's a lot more than that. Bathory's death from Bloodrayne. I love Nazi bitches, chicks with masks, guro, and tentacle porn, so heres another storm of awesome. It's a pity you can't watch it happen, but she describes the process in graphic detail earlier. Psylocke's death from XMen- Mutant Apocalypse. Kind of obscure, I know, but there's one stage where she's got to escape a tunnel filling with lava that's being sealed by metal gates. If she gets trapped behind one of these gates and the lava catches up to her... well, you don't see much thanks to the cartoony graphics, but you know what happens to her. Honorable mention to The Punisher. It's a somewhat obscure game and there's only one female character IIRC, so don't get too excited, but it had SO much potential. The Interrogation scenes, where you could lock people in a crematory casket, shove their faces through ceiling fans, and fry them in an electric chair while they beg and plead for you to spare their lives, would have made this one of the greatest guro games EVER, had they included some female minions to toy with. But no, they didn't, and now for years I've been wanting to see the Punisher shove Lara Croft's head through an industrial ceiling fan to no avail. I understand they made a PC version, but as far as I know, there aren't any mods...
I thought of another one! The priestess in God of War 3, when tied to a very heavy pulley by Kratos to hold open a door, you hear the sexy, busty, and topless priestess beg, struggle, then scream and crunch as she proves to be too weak to hold open the door (off screen sadly) and if you return to the room you see chunks and blood (and I think legs) where she used to be. And guy deaths are totally fine Moose
Res evil remake wins hands down for me, jill valentine and rebecca chambers vs tyrants/hunters/neptune/cerburus' etc etc then res evil 4 with ada and res evil 5 with both jill and sheva. I weep for their being no remake of res evil 3, jill vs nemesis would have been awesome. May commission a set of possible outcomes of that as i crave it so much. Look forward to the new survival horror version of tomb raider and of course the new mk...heavy rain has some good deaths.

New school Fallouts have nothing on the old school fallouts on the goriest deaths. Both of the first two contained "special deaths" for their final villians. Things that resulted in someone ripping their own head off to escape from the pain, etc. My vote probably has to go to Eri slow motion acid death in Metal Slug. Mostly because it was an awesome surprise. Clothes burning off, then flesh burning off, and no one from the ESRB or otherwise seemed to catch it!

I played the demo for Dragon Age II recently. If you play as a mage, Hawke's busty sister Bethany will die. She charges at an ogre in a cutscene, gets picked up, her curvy body getting squeezed, then the ogre smashes her down into the ground twice, breaking her and covering her in blood. It got me hot! Any game that snuffs out a gorgeous woman in the first ten minutes is a definite buy for me! Now, if there's a way to get Isabella and/or Female Hawke raped and murdered (preferably by darkspawn), it may just be my game of the year!

I just caught deputy emily's death in Deadly Premonition, i do like me a woman in uniform, its pretty cool, quite alot of chicks die Se7en style deaths but its more twin peaks than se7en...plant growing out of her womb to then be yanked out.

I haven't finished the game yet but so far Dead Space 2 has one pretty good female death. The first chick you meet in the game gets turned into a bloody puddle by a giant gun ship. Also if you have any interest in male deaths pretty much every death in Dead Space 2 is freaking awesome. Especially during boss battles.

Her suit vanishes, giving you a shot of Samus in the Zero Suit's spandex glory as Adam yells "Samus? Samus! SAAAMUUUUS!" over the radio, and gives you the game over screen. And that's if you don't get her eaten or dunked in lava.
There's one I like in Arkham Asylum, but it's not very gruesome. Batman gets crushed by Poison Ivy's vines, then forced into the ground to become plant food. Hot.

I'm more or less certain any game with the 'ryona' tag is a qualifier. Off the top of my head, there was indeed Demonophobia/Xenophobia, and there's a random vore game called Fromage [I think]... Witcher 2 did look pretty cool so far. Looking out for it. Ummm... Hm. TVTropes lists Hanakanmuri and Blank Blood as ryona games.

The SAW games spring to my mind. Reverse bear trap, explosions, impaled through the groin area by a swinging blade, ripped apart by a falling elevator, crushed by hydraulic pistons (first limbs then head), drowning, head blown apart by shotguns etc. Reverse bear trap will make sense to anyone who's seen a SAW movie with it. It basically kills by ripping the jaws apart.

Darksiders. The finishers are bloody. My favourite is the one where War grabs Tiamat's wings, tears them from her and finally rips her beating heart out of her chest. Griever's death is also great (slamming a railroad car into the face several times and ripping the heart out), Straga's death (war teleports inside his skull and cuts his way out). The sequel, Darksiders 2, is said to have gory finishers too.

I have to say I never really 'bought' the MGS4 deaths...at least the female ones. Knowing what a troll Kojima is though it's intentional and crappily symbolic, what with the whole 'goes into fetal position first' thing. It just doesn't feel very realistic or sensible, but the Beasts and Frogs are still pretty hot though (except Mantis, she looks more like Skwisgar's speed) Timesplitters 1 has some pretty good animations, I hate that you can't get a near-clean pause screen in 2&3 because of the wristwatch submenu. Also I like to imagine some of the holds in RRXX ending with a necksnap or suffocation. Don't forget about arcade games btw! Some of those oldschool beat'em-ups like Growl and Tecmo Knight were a tad surprising!
I know it's probably not going to happen, but I saw a shot of Arkham City where catwoman is being suspended over a vat of acid....now I know there's a mission where you need to save her, but I am REALLY crossing my fingers for a "Mission Failed" moment where she takes a dip
4 days until Skyrim.........I am hoping that there is a scenario where you can betray a sexy female NPC in the same style you can betray Cass in Fallout NV ALSO I am definitely hoping you can feed some sexy guards/npcs to the dragons

82 Not that poster, but I can say there's a lot of potential for mods once the SDK comes out. There's already a beheading animation in game, for example. However there's no real special "guro" content beyond killing various female npc bandits and so on.

Hey this is OP, Sorry that I have not responded....I actually have been too busy playing skyrim lol. In terms of guro there is nothing really exciting, There are a couple quests where you betray women who will probably die once the people you betray them to get to them. There is one point too where you can sacrifice one of your companions (she gets magically tied to a post). I would have loved to see some girls magically blown apart or turned to ash, or scripted sequence where a young lass is burned alive or eaten by a dragon. But alass so far no good game is awesome though
>>85 An almost Guro moment, I'll try not to spoil. at the end of Dark Brotherhood questline you can access a torture chamber where two underwear clad men and two underwear glad women are there to be sliced, not too interesting. Best Guro in game is the decapitation perk for One Handed where there's a chance of slicing a head or arm off, can be a little thrilling to see a female bandits head pirouette through the air as her body stumbles about. distinct lack of blood though. However with the official modding kit for PC coming out soon I can imagine a LOT of mods based of massive violence.

Pretty sure all melee weapons can decapitate with their respective perk. I mostly use warhammers and have decapitated a few people (it's very satisfying :D ). Working my 1H with maces, but so far I've gotten no decaps with those.
Has no one mentioned RE4 yet? There are some really great death scenes in there. But you have to kind of let Leon die a lot to see them. I still haven't gotten the one where he gets his face ripped off and it just sort of flops off his skull, flapping around. Then there's the face-melting scenes. And the burning. And the dismemberment. That game in general is good, if you like boy-guro.

Play MK9 and you possibly got all your fetishes fullfiled. Too bad there are no custom skins that can be downloaded, as no MK9 for PC.

I think the MK guys are getting a bit worried about the guro fans and deliberately toning things down and not doing a PC version for fear of mods. For example in Deception the characters would occasionally plead with their attacker for mercy. Shame there is no PC version of Samurai Shodown either.

The darkness II looks like a good candidate for great guro games, as you guys mentions above. Also don't forget the new Metal Gear Revengeance. There definitely will be alot of guro as you play only with Raiden. Don't forget also Golden Axe Beast.Raider, you play as scantily clad heroines Tyris Flare, her dead collections are pretty good, you can chops her up anyway you can... My favourite, halve her by midsection.
I think the problem with Skyrim is that there is no real connection between actions and reactions. You just sort of wave your sword in the general direction of the enemy and their body falls apart with and goes into ragdoll mode.
I was originally really looking forward to Metal Gear Rising because it looked like it was going to have more FROGS in it (slice and dice + all female soldiers = awesome) based on the original trailer. Now I'm not so sure. Since they relaunched the project I haven't been getting the same vibes.
Yeah the "Revengance" (seriously?) setback, the game just doesn't have the same appeal and the possibilities for creative slashing were thrown out for no apparent reason.
Sigh... The possibility of a slice and dice game with dozens of expendable female soldiers in it on the PC. Oh what could have been. :(

glad to see mention of fallout here, even if the comments in question are from last year. the first two games were definitely spectacular in presentation of gore, but the cinematic deaths in the more recent games have their own appeal. plus the DLC 'old world blues' involves your character being abducted and operated on by robots, it's just a shame there were no cutscenes, or even scars. ... google tells me there was a fallout thread on the old chan archive but also that the page is potentially malicious. so. i'm basically here to ask if anybody knows where some related guro remains? in any form, really. or does anyone have interest in creating some?
I know they aren't that gruesome at all, but they Gray Fox's kills in MGS1 and Vamp's on MGS2 were quite bloody and awesome.
