Well, actually, there was a translation before, it's just picture wasn't edited.
The sports festival in spring (boutaoshi [I had to look this up. "game in which the object is to topple the opposing teams pole"])
Cruelty High school, where it is a tradition to risk your life (especially for the girls) to strengthen your body as well as your soul. I got requests of people that wanted to know not only about the culture festival and the cruel school trip, but also about the sports festival. So I decided to report on this. However, please understand that it is not that cruel.
A match where the opponent is beaten through physical surperiority: The boutaoshi. It is a challenge for the first year students. But in this school, a girl of the same class is tied to the pole. When she crashes into the ground the match is lost for that team. The girls are tied to a pole from even before the morning assembly on. That pole is then placed in front of the class tent. Until the boutaoshi starts at the end of the afternoon, the girls can cheer for their class from that high place, but because they are wearing the Cruelty High's special sports outfit* everyone can get a peek up their skirt from below. That is also one of special joys of the sports festival.
By the way, the boutaoshi is the last match of the day and awards 50 points to the winning team, so everyone is rushing into a heroic match!
The summer sports outfit of the Cruelty High is just a normal T-Shirt and short pants for the boys, but the girls are wearing a skirt instead of the pants. The color is changing according to the year. This year it is like this: First year is wearing navy blue, 2nd year dark red, 3rd year dark green. Also, under the skirt they wear just short panties and it is a custom not to wear something else like leggins during PE, even when a girl has her period. (If one shows up in leggins everyone will think 'ah, it is that tme of the month...'.) That is why on days with PE on the schedule it is important for them to wear good panties made from thick cotton :)
The girls are only among themselves during PE but on the day of the sports festival they celebrate together witht the boys. It seems like this is a tradition that is being kept.
