Basically it depends on my mood. If I'm "creating" then I listen to Chopin's Nocturn in B♭ minor or sum other choice classical.

However korn - freak on a leash, and most of the Queen of the Damned soundtrack appeal to my interest too lol.

then occasionally i'll move to my J-Rock (they play so much harder imo and it just feels right XD)

Not all of us, but most of us do live decent lives, I believe. As long as you manage to develop a good mask over the years, people won`t even notice you`re different and accept you. I study, have a job, a boyfriend and a couple of friends. The people closest to me know that I`m fucked up, and they still love me as I am. And that`s all I need, really.
>> No. 37772
>>37763
Also - you should never be disgusted with what you are. You`re beautiful, unique, and interesting. And everything you like, you like for a reason. And since you like it, it`s good, not terrible. The definition of good and bad should be subjective, not something society or your friends tell you it is. Do and love whatever you like, you`re free, you`re you. Anything is ok as long as it doesn`t interfere with someone elses freedom.
>> No. 37774
I came here for a fisrt time now and you guys are creeping me out! How can you hate yourself for weird fantasies?? You wouldn't really chop people up so what's the matter of all this? I mean - as long as you regognize fantasy from real life it's all good.

Plus I think denying is more sicker than saying; "Yeah, well I like that sort of stuff."

And yes I support Creature Feature as well. They made only one album which is kinda shame because I've kinda got bored listening it so many times.
>> No. 37775
Marilyn Manson - Evidence is my favorite guro song.

And we're not broken, just a bit perverse. S'nothing 'wrong' about it so long as you don't go out hurting real people. Human nature is narrowminded and judgmental; y'gotta get critical of that shit and reject it, for your sake as well as that of anyone else whom may be affected by your opinions.

I live an awesome life, embracing my freakiness for all it's worth. There's a lot of alternative subcultures out there where deviation is a point of pride, and something like a gore fetish only makes you a more interesting person...

i know its not easy for everyone to accept this "abnormality",but you have to in order to find peace with yourself. To be honest, gurochan helped me a lot in this.Cause when you don't know how many people out there are like you,you tend to dismiss yourself.

While I love most of the music posted here, especially the dark and ambient stuff, I'm going to ask if anyone could recommend good death music? And I don't mean poser music a teenager might like, Dimmu Borgir and the like. I mean heartcrushing growls, shrieking screams, asphyxiating shrieks.

The lack of a vocalist puts me off from a lot of this music even if the instrumentals are great.

How old are you? I had a copy of that cassette tape back in High School n' used to listen to them a lot.

I don't know, I'm into all kinds of music myself from noisy stuff (dig that Sutcliffe Jugend stuff posted in this thread earlier) to totally dreamy-eyed twee pop stuff. Also love old country music, spooky old organ music, polka, etc...

One band that is still one of my all time favorites is Caroliner (and all the various incarnations / takes on that name they've released albums under). Lovely crazy, spooky, noisy, vaudeville-esque music performances.

I'm 53. I'm a musician, so I listen to Everything (Senses Fail to Paul Oakenfold to Karl Stockhausen to Funki Porcicni). And also lots of film; Miike Takashi is my fav director lol. If you dig Laibach, their CD 'WAT'(We Are Time) is incredible. Some folks would go like, how ugly this music is. Trust me, it's beautiful if you get it.

Also check out Death in June. Douglas Pearce is a really nice guy but is obsessed with War. His songs specifically deal with Nazi stuff and has had his CDs banned in Germany.

The answer is the latter, just for the record. What's wrong, honey, can't take it when someone doesn't have the same taste in music as you? Little bit disappointed. Funny, I thought we were all adults here.

i made this thread so maybe i could find some nice songs and discover new artists, and (with the exception of battle of mice)i was disappointed, and i expressed my disappointment with a rather rude post...

that said,i still think this thread is interesting, cause i feel like i got to take a look into the psyche of gurochanners.

Hand Of Doom - Danzig version on Blackacidevil (Sabbath song)

Slip the knife right in
Blood is running red
Cut the stomach right
I start to crawl inside

Pull the skin apart
Now it's getting hard
Start to slip right in
Blood is getting thin

See the world surround
Watch the bloody ground
Put her in the ground
Her cum is all around

Put my finger in
It's just a little thing
When I take it out
It's in a bloody mouth

Make my dying bride
I part the bloody hide
Put my dick right in
Her cum is getting thin

If you really want to 'feel' Death in June, start here: 'But, What Ends When the Symbols Shatter?' ('02); then going back I would choose, 'Brown Book' ('87) and 'Nada!' ('85). Senses Fail - Let it Enfold You. Maybe not Guro, but quite Emo lyric-wise. A band from New Jersey that everyone should hear at some point. After this one, check out their: Still Searching. Only at the end do you realise that all the songs are told from the point-of-view of a guy who just committed suicide and hates Christianity....

I am a long-time fan of this band, but it dawned on me that, at the least, this CD belongs on this threat. The last song may sum this feeling up. Otherwise, this is among the best Butthole Surfers releases, and can put you in any mood you choose lol. I put only three bands in the "this-fucked-up" category: Butthole Surfers, The Residents, and Faust.

gay and gayer and not in the slightest bit relevent to guro feels also only one album by queens of the stone age would fit the bill the rest is all dadrock.

I put up Butthole Surfers, Rachmaninoff, Laibach, Death in June, and Danzig (and a few others). Why is BS' Locust Abortion Technicion dadrock? You could have said the same about the others, seeing how old I am. On this BS, the songs: Graveyard, 22 Going On 23, and Human Cannonball, maybe even their cover of Sabbath's Sweet Leaf (Sweet Loaf) do qualify here (I think). If you haven't heard this CD, you ought to.
Qotsa: what CD? Because there are several that fit this effin bill. I could have posted the obvious shit: Carcass, Cannibal Corpse, Throbbing Gristle, Coil, Psychic TV, Radio Werewolf, Dimmu Borgir, Children of Bodom...

It's crazy isn't it? I love Senses Fail. Even though their songs are so dark, they've played in churches before. Makes me wonder about their faith, you know? I don't care if they have a Christian background or not. But if they do, it shows just another point of view of how Christians can be.
>> No. 43769
In connection to any kind of violence, I prefer classical music. It helps me keep calm, in a way. I don't know if anyone knows the feeling. Though I like classical music, I do favor dark lyrics.

Feeling like an unapproachable teenager with dark makeup isn't my thing. So I avoid artists like Korn, Marilyn Manson and Nine Inch Nails.

Cool post. I have everything Senses Fail have ever done and there is nothing in their lyrics endorsing Christianity. In fact, listen to their CD, "Still Searching", where Buddy's lyrics in the first song (The Rapture) and last one (The Priest and the Matador) are not only not Christian, they are def anti-Christian. Don't know about the other guys in the band though. Senses Fail are a great band. I literally listen to something by them every night lol.

Ummm, from Senses Fail and the Butthole Surfers to.... Classical. You prob already know these, but check out Igor Stavinsky's 'Petrushka', 'The Firebird', and the obv 'The Rite of Spring'. There is so much violent dark Classical: Mahler, Wagner's 'Ring', Schoenberg, Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana', Karl Stockhausen (ask me for suggestions; he and I were friends). Stockhausen's music is so tripped-out that it defies description.

Holy Fucking Shit: 40,000
Can't say if most people here have a really horrible music taste or they are just trolling.
So many mallcore stuff.

Anyway, there isn't any particularly style that would go with Guro for me, besides Avant-Garde/Death Metal.

But the mood strikes me when i am listening to Akira Yamaoka (The noise/ambient tracks, not the trip-hop stuff) and Merzbow along with Sunn O))), i could also add Swans.

Classical and Jazz also add to the atmosphere. Anything with lots of sick Noise/Static would also work too, i suppose.

lots of good advice but i'd like to add too.
recommend working out. it can suck at first but if you stick with it it can be an awesome complement. when you feel you can't do another rep, focus the negativity however it works best. when your arms are spent for example imagine they are still at full strength and it's only hard to complete the rep because you're trying to tear an arm out of a socket or something. alternatively you can focus on your own destruction and when you feel it's just too difficult to continue, remind yourself how laughable it would be to call the feeling you experience now "pain" compared to what the people experience in hundreds of the images on here. build up all those feelings until you are forcing yourself to feel them and the longer and/or harder you push yourself the harder it will be to maintain. either way you are harnessing negative energy for a positive change and come out feeling good about yourself

I'm not really disgusted by myself at all. I lead a good life, I'm studying to be a physicist, I have a beautiful boyfriend who loves me for who I am. The fact of the matter is that I would never do any of this in real life. Sure I'm in to some pretty kinky shit, but that doesn't mean that I'm actually a serial killer who gets off on the pain of his victims (I'm actually masochistic). I figure there's a big difference between jacking off to this (yes, I am male) and actually acting on it, so it doesn't really bother me.

tl;dr it's all okay because I would never do any of this

Mh, took some time to get through this...
From what I've sound here I love Sutcliff Jugend and Birthday Massacre and also Mystification and Battle of Mice and many more that I listened to are great.

Short note: I think that even though this might perhaps fit this community it is still pretty unefficient to note bad music and that you should repeat good music instead,
because the distinction between noise and music is completely subjective and by noting music that you don't like you will actually push that music.
Well, you could try to push music you do like by hating it, but I don't think anyone did that very well yet if that is what you intended.

I personally love noisy stuff being mixed by actual recognizable melody, so I recommend
Luka, Rin - murder
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6M3BUjSWN8
(The lyrics could kick in a little earlier, but overall a great and very creative song.)

“Disbeliever” by Darkseed — http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTW5LcMYesQ

The amazing chorus of that song always reminds me of my nature, of my desperate lust for blood–soaked intestines, and particularly of the picture attached to this post, which is all I can think of when listening to that Darkseed song. Yes, it is very tame and lacks the bloody mess that I love so much, but still it looks so beautiful, so perfect, so goddamn heavenly in my eyes! Horo is enchanting, and the very sight of her beautiful delicate guts makes me forget about the whole world around me and pity myself desperately, for I fell in love with a JPEG image—an utmost instance of futility and misery. But I cannot help it, nor can I help myself out of the blood–painted madness. And I love it in the most unnatural and absurd way.

(Unlike the most of you, I came to the world of guro through several real life experiences, which changed me and created this mighty fixation on gore—real gore, which I substitute with drawn one, for the former is not so widespread.)

Love and value your unique obsession, guys and girls! It is priceless!

“Piece of Time” (Atheist cover) by Obscura: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtkIjOvQGIs — such a flawless cover of one of Atheist’s classical pieces. This be my present choice of music for browsing the gory fathoms of GUROchan’s /g/. If you happen to comprehend and like the more mature, complex, technical, and extreme flavors of metal, then make sure to check it out by that link.

Although my essential and usually quite stable inclination towards metal music has been diminishing steadily, giving way to milder genres like rock and electronic music (Blue Öyster Cult and Apollo 440 are my major highlights there), a handful of my dearest metal bands continues to maintain its never lessening grip upon me firmly: Atheist, Cynic, Death, Morbid Angel, Obscura, The Faceless, and Fallujah — IMO these are delicious ripe fruits of death metal at its best.
