For me, it's less the style (I actually like the more "ugly" types of drawings once in a while), and more that often, his drawings are... flat. His anatomy is great, yeah, but in a lot of pictures, there's little depth, and it sort of pulls me out of the image.

Great stuff, but he could work on that area some more, I think.
