What is guro? -

"Guro" is a shortening of 'ero guro' which itself is a shortening of the term 'ero guro nansensu'/'erotic grotesque nonsense' and originally referred to an artistic movement that took flight in the early 20th century, Japan. The modern definition of guro has evolved slightly since then as it has worked its way into different media but still stays true to the original concept.
Guro does not refer solely to gore, rather it is an umbrella term that encompasses a wide variety of frequently erotic, artistic deviancy often with negative subject matter such as, but not exclusive to, death. Guro is an exploration of the depths of extreme fetishism and deviant hedonism.

That's not really a question but your observation is welcome if a little lacking in understanding.
Most of us are mild mannered average men and women who hold down jobs, engage in healthy relationships and pay their tax. Your average GUROchanner consistently fails to murder
anyone on a daily basis due to having a grasp on empathy and the ability to discern fantasy from reality.

No, liking guro is not normal. It's nothing to be ashamed of but that doesn't mean it's normal. If you're asking this question then you can find many threads in /dis/ and /dis/archive/ on the same topic if you're willing to search a little.

Why the furry hate? -

We don't hate furry as such, we just don't see the point in catering for a notoriously disruptive fan base by making a redundant board. There are already sections on image boards specifically for furry guro, such as
fchan.
What is sage? -

- it didn't break any rule and had material related to the board it was on ;

What goes in /f/reakshow? -

/f/reakshow is intended to be a board for extreme, weird and otherwise lurid material that does not involve scat or grievous wounds. To put that in context, imagine /f/ as an extreme version of 4chan's /d/ (hentai/alternative), and while the two may overlap on some subjects (for example, monster girls) redundancy is not intended. There is absolutely no need to have two boards that cater for exactly the same thing, this is why something such as bondage does not belong here.
