The complete savedata is provided for KUSOGE 15. All you have to do is to go into Free Mode. If you reset the game and can't clear it yourself with the hints given here, download it again.

Also, backup the savedata folder (i.e. copy and rename as fullsave) to avoid such situations.

Now if only we can find a way to convert these to English I'll consider this a perfect world :P

You can play kusoge in (bad) english by using Anime Games Text Hooker (AGTH) to capture the text, send it to a translation program, and display it on your screen.

Follow these instructions: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:5KbS1vj7u54J:hentailegends.org/forum/printthread.php%3Ftid%3D20+playing+steins%3Bgate+agth

I tried this with 2 and it was understandable and hot.

Hmmmmm, now that we're able to capture and switch up the text is there anyone thats able to properly translate it without using bablefish or some shit like that?
In my mind, one of the biggest steps was just getting a hold of the text (mainly because I'm not too computer savvy), but now that we got it is there anyone who's willing and able to translate?

This could be the start of something beautiful :)

I've read every post carefully, but I just can't get it to work.
Is there anyone that would be so kind as to upload the pictures from the game?

Can it be sticky again?

That's it.... what is the episode you like the most in Kuso series...
If we ask for speed&Reflexion challenge : No.4 [without cheats]
If we want a quick ending [with a various ending] : No.9 and No.13
If we want a real [and maybe f#$%ing serious] challenges : No.3,5,6,7 and 15 [try to play without complete save and walkthrough may hard as hell]

What about yours?

1. Kusoge 6 is easily at the top of my list, due to the game's depth/length and art style
2. Kusoge 15 similar to 6, more sound effects, but less attractive art style in my opinion
3. Kusoge 11, as a sucker for farting, the orchestra of new sounds was a plus along with the farting contest scene
4. Kusoge 2, this has my favorite premise, being trapped with a gassy girl in an elevator, I'm still praying for a way to translate this :P
5. Its a close call between 5 and 7, but considering the fact that I still don't fully understand how to work Kusoge 7, Kusoge 5 takes the lead

But the only ones that I've ever seen as disappointing are the mini-game type ones, otherwise I love them all
>> No. 9311
I "translated" Kusoge 2. Download here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KLIHZ6RZ

Notes:

1) I don't know much Japanese, so when I say "translated" I mean "rewrote the output from a machine translator." I guess it's frowned upon when people do this with more serious visual novels, but I think it turned out OK (and it's a game about a girl farting in an elevator--how much can I mess up?)

2) I used insani's Kirikiri tools (http://www.insani.org/tools/) to extract and repack the data.xp3 archive, which contains the script, pictures, fart sounds, etc. Anyone who's interested could add fart sounds from Kusoge 11 to this game.

3) I didn't bother getting word wrap working, so some words are broken. It's probably not hard to figure out if anyone wants to look at it.

I've been looking for a text extractor for a while. Thanks a bunch for the link to insani's tools.

This will definitely come in handy, but I can't guarantee I'll get anything done.

>> No. 9352

I'm trying to do the translations myself. I've extracted the contents for the data file using the tool you linked. My question is: which of the extracted files is the one containing all the text to be translated? I see a lot of code in some of them, but not characters or anything like that. Any pointers would be great.
>> No. 9353
>>9311
Here's the thing. I extracted the data.xp3 from Kuso 11. And the se-folder only contained four files, none of them fart-related at all.

How is this possible? Where are all the glorious farting noises hidden?
>> No. 9356
>>9353
There should be 56 of them. Only 4 have non-Unicode names, though, so I'm guessing this is where your problem comes from.

>>9352
Sadly, the way it is coded, there is text in all of the script files (scenario folder). Look for [r], [p] and [cm] tags at the end of the strings.
>> No. 9359
>>9356
ok, that helps a bit . . what text editor are you using, and i imagine i have to have japanese characters enabled somewhere for them to display properly? I tried just opening them in notepad for example, which worked, but i didnt see the typical characters im used to seeing while playing the game, which led me to believe i'd opening the wrong file etc.
>> No. 9360

If you use Windows, set the language for Unicode-incompatible programs to Japanese. Everything should display properly then.

KUSOGE 16 was released two days ago :
https://rapidshare.com/files/2532883483/kuso16.zip

Kindaichi Case Files meets Case Closed (Detective Conan). You play once again as Hajime Kindaichi with a new mystery to solve. This time, the female protagonists are Miyuki Nanase, Ran Mouri and Kazuha Toyama.

(Clear game file provided. As usual, click on the anus to see the bonus scenes.)

Take your time and examine the scene carefully, as you have a limited number of actions (each action takes one minute and you only have 20 minutes to get your reasoning ready).

Spoiling anything would pretty much ruin the fun, but here's the complete memo if you want to avoid redundant and useless actions.

The first part is easy: you have to find who make what: colors and types of "log" help you a lot. After choose 20 times you have to select the girl in the right order: go to up to bottom of the three choices.
Then you have to do something with the information in the paper note but i don't understand what.

Would you happen to be able to make a rough translation of the latest game also?

I honestly can't make heads or tails out of this and I feel any walkthrough to this game is going to be pretty complicated.
Reminds me of Kusoge 7

Alright, since no one else is going to ask, I'll be the Anonymous asshole who asks what I'm sure we're all thinking...

Would you be able to translate ALL of the Kusoge games (or at least the ones with a plot and dialog)? In my opinion, 2 came out great and I'd love to see what the rest are like translated. I realize this is asking a bit much, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

You ask for translate but i think it isn't an easy things to do.

Anyway: someone can explain the new game?
>> No. 9956
I'd make a translation patch, but
I can get the Japanese texts out and the English in,
but the problem for me is I can't do the actual translation part lol.

I've actually tried doing kuso 6 once, though only got the menu parts lol and really none of the story.

though if anyone was able to help with doing the translating part, we might be able to work on getting a game in English.

Have you tried google translator yet? it's far from perfect, but it was capacable of translating the location names in Kuso 6. That's a start, at least. it's at hxxp://www.translate.google.com

Running Win XP SP3

Under XP SP3 :
Method 1 : Use a program to temporarily change your system's locale (such as Microsoft AppLocale - Google it.)
Method 2 : R&L settings > Japanese. Make sure Asian fonts are installed. Reboot. If other programs stop working, when you are done playing, revert to your original settings and reboot again to save changes.

You don't need an XP. You have to search for Microsoft Applocale. I play these game under Vista. If you have a mac or Linux I don't have solutions.
